About our cows?
The breed of Desi cows called “Gir” originates from the forest regions of Gujarat. Unlike regular milk, Gir cows are known for producing highly regarded A2 milk.
The A2 Gir cow ghee is made from the milk of an indigenous cow breed named Gir. The Gir cows are not exposed to chemicals or artificial hormones and are kept in an organic environment. They produce highly-regarded A2 milk, which is turned into A2 organic ghee by the Bilona method.
The A2 cow ghee is easily digestible and helps the body to get rid of toxins. Its daily consumption can also treat minor common ailments, such as insomnia, hair fall, and eye problems.
How is our Ghee made?
A2 milk is boiled and left to cool down at normal temperature. Once warm, it is converted to yogurt overnight. Yogurt is bilona churned in the traditional Vedic process to make makkhan, which gets extracted in another container and boiled over a stove to produce Ghee. This bi-directional churning process increases the medicinal properties. The leftover is just buttermilk and there is no milk left to be consumed again.
